- Seeing their photos and personal decorations gave me a new perspective on my in-laws and my wife. There are some things you never learn about your spouse unless you spend time with their family. Pictures of family skiing trips in Europe, hiking in some rain forest, and sail boating in the Mediterranean filled one wall. The photos of Elle on a beach in France made me take a second glance.
